A hot and humid storm will pass in Western Washington on Saturday evening, spilling the area with several inches of rain and possibly cause some rivers flood.
A quarter of the flood, the National Weather Service said the tolT River in King County and the Puyallup River naer Orting the Skokomish River in Mason County "seem some flood."
Have at least a moderate threat of flooding rivers are the Satsop and the Chehalis Grays Harbor and Lewis counties. Nooksack, Skagit, Stillaguamish, Snohomish, Skykomish and Snoqualmie flowing out of the North cascades and the Deschutes and Cowlitz Skookumchuck flowing off the coast of the Central Cascades, the weather service said.
Flood watch for all of the State of Washington, other rivers could flood, too. In King County, prévisionnistes expect rain in the upper Green River basin. The Green River is of concern because of problems with a dam on the headwaters of the River.
Saturday afternoon or night, an "express" pineapple will hit the region. Weather prévisionnistes national say 1 to 3 inches of rain will probably fall in the lowlands of Western Washington Saturday evening to Sunday evening.
3 To 8 inches of rain will probably fall into the mountains. Snow levels will increase at 8,000 feet, increase in runoff.
University of Washington meteorologist Cliff mass says in his blog weather that 5-10 inches could fall into the North cascades and the Olympic Games.
"At this time, this event is no record-breaker, but it will bring rain grave and much warmer temperatures." Rain will fall on that beautiful fresh snow in the mountains, seriously contribute to a significant threat avalanche later at week's end. Backcountry should be avoided, then "Mass wrote Thursday night."
More snow expected Friday morning in the mountains. A winter storm warning for the cascades, says up to 6 inches may fall from the Stevens pass northward.
The Ministry of transport of the State of Washington is demanding that the tire traction Friday morning on Stevens and white passes. They are informed on the Snoqualmie and Blewett pass.
Up to 3 more inches of snow could fall into the Olympic Games, said the weather service.
Expect more rain Friday and Saturday in Seattle. Forecast calls for temperatures in quarantine.
Saturday night and Sunday will bring heavy rain. Sunday temperatures should rise into the mid-1950s.
