St. Paul, Minnesota - elected Governor Mark Dayton has hired a State Capitol Insider to serve as its general counsel.

Sampling of Dayton General Counsel is Peter Wattson, counsel of the Senate and the Secretary of the Senate for a long time. Wattson worked for the Minnesota Senate for four decades. Wattson is considered an expert on several legislative issues including redistricting, the Electoral Act, link invoice and finance.

In a press release, Dayton said he was delighted to Wattson join in his Office. He said the Wattson experience will serve as a State during the significant budgetary challenges.
