MINNEAPOLIS - A University of Minnesota official says the playground to the stage of the Bank of Tcl is fairly soft despite freezing temperatures and it is satisfied that it is ready for bears-Vikings game Monday night.

The Viking House game should be moved to the stage after the Metrodome roof concluded, under the snow last weekend.

Garry Bowman, Director of athletic communications University says 90 per cent of the field has been cleared of snow and schedule crews begin throwing tarps Friday in which hot air is pumped.

He says a layer of snow kept isolated artificial turf and that the field is in better shape now that it was for the last game in a Golden Gophers on November 27.

Monday daytime temperatures are expected to be during adolescence.
