PHILADELPHIA – With an eye towards a confrontation against the Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles first place took care business in Dallas.
They are also little help from mother nature for next week.
New York game against Minnesota has been postponed to Monday night in Detroit because of a massive snowstorm in Minneapolis, which means that the Giants (8-4) have one less day to prepare the Eagles (9-4).
This is usually not a big deal except that it was a chaotic weekend in New York. The Giants were blocked in Kansas City, after their plane was diverted it Saturday and stayed the night prior to arriving in Detroit Sunday afternoon.
So while the Giants travel across the country and must deal with Adrian Peterson and the Vikings resurgent Eagles can relax comfortably at home and to concentrate on the game on Sunday next to the new Meadowlands Stadium.
